Second anniversary of the death of Iñaki Azkuna, the leading promotor of the Zorrotzaurre project

Today is the second anniversary of the death of Iñaki Azkuna, Mayor of Bilbao, and among other positions, Chairman of the Management Commision of Zorrotzaurre.

Iñaki Azkuna was a fundamental protagonist in the urban renovation process of Zorrotzaurre. He promoted and united political, economic and social efforts to make possible the transformation of this rundown neighbourhood into a new economic and social space in Bilbao.
